Early indications are that these cases relate to a dangerous batch of heroin in circulation.

Avon and Somerset Police has made arrests and all partners continue to work with the police to support efforts to disrupt the spread of these dangerous substances.

If anyone has information which would help with our investigation, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223152117.

This alert is being issued because there is a serious threat to life. If you suspect someone is seriously ill call 999 for an ambulance immediately.
